The Chief Executive Officer of IVD Australia is Dr Wendy-Jane Morrow
Wendy-Jane Morrow was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of IVD Australia Limited in July 2014. This appointment follows a career of some 17+ years as a CEO in Health, including health education. Her broad experience and knowledge of healthcare on many levels explains her influential position and traction with Industry and Government leaders on major policy and regulatory matters. Wendy-Jane comes to IVD Australia from the Complementary Healthcare Council of Australia where she led a major contribution to the positioning and policy influence of this peak industry body. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Masters of Education Administration (Hons) and a PhD in Education Administration, and is qualified as a Quality Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2000).
“We are impressed with Wendy-Jane’s executive leadership abilities and experiences. While her past roles were not directly involved in the IVD industry, reliable access to therapeutic goods and a sustainable healthcare environment have always been core issues prompting Wendy-Jane’s passion for industry advocacy in health. We look forward to working closely with Wendy-Jane as she leads IVD Australia into a new phase and builds value for our members in the coming years.”
Commenting on her appointment, Wendy-Jane said, “I am delighted to take up this challenging role. Australia has a responsible and highly engaged IVD industry, supplying world leading diagnostics to the pathology sector. I believe my career and experience to date puts me in an excellent position to lead IVD Australia into its next chapter of growth, building on the successes achieved under the stewardship of Peter Harman.”
The Board of IVD Australia asks members to join us in welcoming Dr Morrow to the role and look forward to the ongoing growth of IVD Australia under her leadership.
