The Chief Executive Officer of IVD Australia is Dr WendDr Wendy-Jane Morrowy-Jane Morrow

Over a 20-year career in Health, including health education, Wendy-Jane Morrow has worked in management, QC, retail, lecturing, auditing and policy roles; with experience on both sides of the Board table. She graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1992 and a PhD in 2005.

Realising the central role of non-profit organisations and, because of her personal and particular interest in their ability to improve the business environment for industry, Wendy-Jane focused her efforts on communicating and raising awareness of industry value in the therapeutic goods industry.

Wendy-Jane Morrow was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of IVD Australia Limited in July 2014.

While her past roles were not directly involved in the IVD industry, reliable access to therapeutic goods and a sustainable healthcare environment have always been core issues prompting Wendy-Jane’s passion for industry advocacy in health. We look forward to working closely with Wendy-Jane as she leads IVD Australia into a new phase and builds value for our members in the coming years.”

Commenting on her appointment, Wendy-Jane said, “I am delighted to take up this challenging role. Australia has a responsible and highly engaged IVD industry, supplying world leading diagnostics to the pathology sector. I believe my career and experience to date puts me in an excellent position to lead IVD Australia into its next chapter of growth, building on the successes achieved under the stewardship of Peter Harman.”

Executive Support - Chami Gunasinghe Chami.jpg

Chami joined IVD Australia in July 2013 in the role of executive support.

Chami provides research and administrative support across a range of projects and activities, including the secretariat to the Code of Conduct Administration Committee and the Code Complaints Committee.

Chami previously worked in the Advertising and Marketing Sector for agencies, clients as well as not for profit organisations. She also has extensive experience in even management, social media and other PR related activities. 

Chami works in a part time capacity at IVD Australia.
